To uphold the high standards of the Verified Vendor Program, GemCrowd operates under a strict policy of Vendor accountability.
As a Vendor in the Gemcrowd Marketplace, you agree to adhere to the following performance standards to remain in good standing:
Failure to abide by the following terms and conditions or failure to meet any of the Rules of conduct may result in a flag against the Vendor’s account.
Verified Vendors must adhere to the highest level of professional conduct at all times, and any instance of unprofessional business practice will result in a flag against the Vendor account. Vendors are expected to be responsive, courteous, reliable and honest in every GemCrowd business transaction. Verified Vendors must professionally supply all orders to the 100% satisfaction of customers. Vendors must uphold the highest level of integrity in the gem, jewelry and natural objects industry.
Communication from the GemCrowd Management team or an account manager must be responded to within 48 hours/7 days a week, and all appropriate action taken. Failure to do so may result in a flag.
Flags are issued at the discretion of the GemCrowd management team and are non-negotiable, and the following examples would cause an immediate issuing of a flag:
Receiving a flag will automatically suspend a Verified Vendor temporary for a period of 15 days and new item listings will be prohibited during that period.
In the event that three flags have accumulated, a Verified Vendor will be suspended from the GemCrowd Marketplace permanently, and any and all of Vendor’s GemCrowd online showrooms will be immediately closed.
Any Verified Vendor may be suspended permanently without notice at the discretion of GemCrowd’s management at any time. The following examples would result in immediate and permanent suspension:
Every product listing on the GemCrowd Marketplace will display a unique “File a report” button so Buyers or Vendors may cite a problem, request further information or request an audit from the GemCrowd management team.
If any issue is found within a listing, the account manager will suspend the listing to perform an audit and notify the Vendor immediately to discuss the issue further.
During a listing audit, minor issues like typographic errors, mismatched photos, etc. will result in a list of recommended changes from the account manager. The Vendor is expected to amend the original listing and submit a corrected version to the account manager. If action to amend the listing is not undertaken by the Vendor, the listing will be suspended within 24 hours.
GemCrowd Vendors are managed across the network by a special program and each Vendor will have its dedicated account manager to guide potential Vendors through the application process and provide ongoing support.
To join GemCrowd.com and establish a showroom within the community, Vendors must first register and choose one of the GemCrowd membership plans.
After registering, Vendors must complete an application form online.
After receiving an application form, the account manager will:
Once the vetting process has been completed, potential Vendors will be notified of approval or disapproval at the discretion of the GemCrowd Account Manager and Management Team.

GemCrowd’s account managers will approve only the most professional Vendors with the highest quality products.
Account managers will constantly verify, update and approve all products offered by every Vendor.
